Founded in 1989 with the assistance of then-Fulton County Commissioner Michael Hightower and with the support of a community enthusiastic about controlling its destiny, the Old National Merchants Association (ONMA) is one of metro Atlanta’s most dynamic business and economic development organizations. ONMA has earned the sustained support of area businesses and residents, major corporations, civic organizations, and governments. ONMA rallies to one overarching purpose: To create a healthy economic environment for merchants and the community. After 20 consecutive years of operations, ONMA continues to energetically embrace new challenges and opportunities—raising awareness of the potential and the responsibilities of doing business on Old National.
