The Old National Merchants Association (ONMA) is celebrating an exhilarating 23 years of leadership in promoting economic development along the Old National Highway (Georgia Highway 279) commercial corridor in south metro Atlanta.
With diverse programs and initiatives from Business Expos to beautification projects, the Association seeks to grow and sustain a vibrant corridor of some 500 friendly establishments: restaurants, hotels, florists, professional service providers, schools, specialty shops, places of worship, and more.
Collaboration and a can do spirit are our driving forces.
ONMA is a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Interested in Serving on ONMA's Board?
Nominations are open for persons wishing to be considered for membership on the ONMA Board of Directors. A Nominating Committee is accepting nominations through February 1, 2012. From the applicant pool, the Committee will build a slate of candidates, to be voted on in February, 2012. Nominees will be considered based on the following criteria:
• Demonstrated leadership
• Ability to commit up to 5 hours monthly
• Capacity to deliver resources
• Past ONMA contributions and participation
• Connections to Old National community
• Expressed or affirmed interest in serving a 2-year Board term

Prospecting for Business at ICSC
ONMA recently went prospecting for new businesses at the regional conference of International Council of Shopping Centers. Our foray was spearheaded by the Old National Economic Development Task Force. Its mission: aggressively recruit quality businesses—particularly under-represented businesses—to the Old National corridor. |

New Mobile-Shopping App—"ATL App"—Open to ONMA Members
Financially active members of ONMA have a unique opportunity—until September 1st—to sign up for a new, mobile-shopping app specially designed for airport and airport-area businesses. ONMA, in association with QR Values, LLC and the Airport Area Guide, is promoting a special rate for ONMA member businesses to be featured in listings with the ATL App, which will offer discount coupons for Dining, Shopping, Services, Accommodations, Entertainment.
